Taylormade Golf Clubs to the Rescue

Are you looking for more accuracy and distance then try some Taylormade Golf Clubs

Taylormade golf clubs have been one of the hottest manufactures on the market for the past few years. They are used by more players on the PGA Tour than any other brand. Their drivers have been #1 on Tour for several years now. I wanted to find out if it's just good marketing by Taylormade golf clubs or are they just that good.

I was lucky enough to come across a demo day at one of our local courses the other day. So I decided it would be a great chance to give them a try. Since we only had a short time before our tee time I decided to just try out the new drivers.

Taylormade golf clubs have several new drivers on the market this season. I decided to try the new Burner series. The young fellow (Alex) that was doing the demo for Taylormade golf clubs was very knowledgeable and friendly. I told him what my set up was and he put together 3 drivers for me to try.

The first was the Burner, it was a 9.5* head with the RE*AX SuperFast 50 by Fujikura shaft in a stiff flex. Taylormade golf clubs boosts this is the most forgiving driver in this series. It set up nicely at address and I hit a least 20 balls with it, I did find it to be quite forgiving. However I was not overly impressed with it. The ball flight just was not what I wanted. I think it might have been the shaft, but only a launch monitor would be able to tell for sure.

The next was the Tour Burner, Taylormade golf clubs also boosts that this is a very forgiving driver that is a little more performance oriented. The set up was similar to the Burner with the 9.5* head but this time the shaft was the RE*AX® SuperFast 60 by Fujikura. I found this driver to be much more to my liking. It had a solid feel at impact and the ball flight was superb. The ball rocketed off the face with a powerful penetrating flight. It definitely had my attention.

The last driver I tried was the Tour Burner TP, this is Taylormade golf clubs performance driver. Alex warned me that this driver is less forgiving than the others and you need a consist swing to hit it well. The set up was the 9.5* head with a Fuji Rombax 75 shaft in a stiff flex. Of the 3 Taylormade golf clubs I demoed that day this was easily my favourite. The ball exploded off the face with a powerful penetrating ball flight. Working the ball left and right was much easier than with the other ones. Simply put I loved this driver, now I just have to convince my wife that I need it!!
